The Game

Tumble-down Wisps is a table-top roleplaying game you play alone or with others. Bring your imagination to life through the character and settings you shape. Play pretend. Go on interactive and emotional journeys. Decide how your character responds to the world around them and watch them grow. Bring your creativity to tell stories, write, draw, color, or any combination of those. This zine contains simple rules, quick character creation, and a one-hour story, all in twenty-eight pages. Your character's successes and failures lead to growth and benefits. The story features opportunities to spotlight your character's backstory. Each Tumble-down Wisps zine, to come, will have a different feel-good story your character can explore.

You make the story your's while your character makes Tumble-down Wisps home.

The Town

Tumble-down Wisps is a fantastical coastal community, filled with mystery, beauty, spookiness, action, and many friendly locals. Continue your character’s story to meet all their neighbors, locals like Preet, the ghosts, the Storyteller (a girl in a top hat), Thimble the bat, Bumble the fox, Spirit and their pet fish, Bigsby Littleton the cotton candy sheep, and Sharlester the green crystal.

Content Warnings

Your character explores their past feelings of loss, suppression, and regret (you decide your character's past and thus control the level of those feelings. Talk with your fellow players about your comfort level).
